Unique, numbered Magnums, hand-painted by Claude Dauphin, a self-taught artist who uses an unusual method of painting.
TASTING
A robe of deep violet with ruby reflexes. In the nose notes of red and black cherries. The palette is elegant and well-structured with handsomely textured tannins. The finish is a voyage unto itself through notes of cloves, star anise and kirsch. A wine that will make you dream, a wine that takes you to new places!
GASTRONOMIC NOTES
A noble wine to lay down, to be enjoyed at the fireplace with a cigar or a chunk of 70% dark chocolate.
VINIFICATION
Harvest destemmed and not chaptalized. First maceration at 4° for 5 days. First fermentation in 400 lt French oak barrels opened under temperature control. Reassembly and extraction aromas, color and tannins manually in the barrel. End of fermentation pressing and closing the barrels. Following 18 months maturing on the lees in these same barrels. After a rigorous tasting, the wines are assembled and bottled.
